International Buyer
- St. Charles Trading Inc. is a global distributor of food ingredients, providing customers with value-added products and services, serving many industries.
We are seeking a full-time International Buyer, in Elgin IL.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assess current material availability.
- Predict future availability based market, delivery systems, & other variables.
- Preparation & procurement.
- PO & requisitions for materials.
- Support & equipment.
- Draft, explain, & implement instructions, policies, & procedures for purchasing & contract management.
- Evaluate & approve conditions for issuing & awarding bids.
- Resolve issues with vendors, contractors, & suppliers.
- Maintain/implement purchasing & record-keeping systems.
- Prepare & present market conditions & merchandising cost reports.
- Collaborate with other departments & leadership to identify & develop needs & requirements for equipment, materials, products, & acceptable substitutes.
- Act as the company’s representative in negotiations with suppliers.
- Coordinate the removal/disposal of surplus materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Administration Management, or Support Management.
Salary:
- $50-$90k depending on experience.
